E+L to showcase range of innovations at Labelexpo

Erhardt+Leimer has confirmed that it will be promoting a raft of innovations at the upcoming Labelexpo Southeast Asia 2025, which is set to take place in May in Bangkok, Thailand.
The company will showcase the SmartScan printed web inspection technology, which is claimed to be the first 200 percent inspection system developed specially for narrow-web printing and finishing machines. It detects print defects, damage to the material and missing labels. SmartScan can be used for quality control in the labels market and checking of other printing applications, including packaging printing. The inspection of unprinted, homogeneous materials, such as paper or film, is also possible.
The E+L specialists are also discussing the ElScan OMS5 printed web monitoring module, which utilizes two high-resolution cameras, each featuring 18 megapixels and distinct fields of view. In addition to the enhanced image quality evident in sharpness and color fidelity, the dualView technology allows for nearly instant zooming up to the maximum magnification level. The digital zoom also removes the necessity for motorized lens adjustment. The ElScan comes with a comprehensive software package that includes numerous additional functionalities.
At the company booth, the El.Motion drive technology showcases a balance between standardization and high adaptability, ensuring rapid, easy, and safe integration. Linear and rotary BLDC drives from El.Motion provide responsive, precise and reliable motors for continuous position, speed and torque acquisition and control.
