Lintec mono-material
Lintec's Mono Material is manufactured using a polyester face film and a polyester based adhesive that can be use on polyester packaging such as PET container label, food label and single use water bottles label. It's designed to be ECO friendly and recyclable. The adhesive can be peeled off cleanly and reduces the risk of contamination during recycling. In addition, special top coating allows the labels to be de-inked in an alkaline washing process. By assisting the clean separation of PET container waste, LINTEC is making a significant contribution to the development of a circular materials economy. Lintec is currently working on the development of Olefin-based Mono Material labelstock, and will strive to contribute to further environmental friendliness and development of circular materials economy..

MatrixCompactor 140
The role of waste handling in a more sustainable future. Reducing environmental impact is essential for every business and supports long-term growth, competitiveness, and compliance. The green transition requires effort, but it offers a chance to make a lasting impact. Automated waste handling solutions are one of the keys to reducing environmental footprints. Lundberg Tech’s vacuum waste handling systems help customers optimise material separation, improve recycling, and minimise waste, supporting their sustainability goals. At Labelexpo Southeast Asia 2025 Lundberg Tech will showcase the MatrixCompactor 140, a waste capturing system designed for efficient label matrix handling. It boosts efficiency, reduces virgin material waste, and lowers CO₂ emissions. Additionally, it improves productivity, minimizes paper core disposal, and eases the workload for press operators by reducing heavy lifting.

Recovered Cellulose Pulp (RCP) and Processed Engineered Fuel (PEF)
Materials In Works (MIW) was founded to address the growing challenge of industrial waste, particularly hard-to-recycle materials such as label liners and laminates. These materials often end up in landfills, contributing to environmental degradation and greenhouse gas emissions. MIW’s mission is to transform this waste into valuable resources, fostering a circular economy while promoting environmental sustainability. By leveraging innovative technologies, we aim to reduce reliance on virgin resources, cut carbon footprints, and offer cost-effective waste management solutions to industries.

Industrial strategy
Environmental performance lies at the heart of ARMOR-IIMAK’s industrial strategy. We take pride in offering eco-designed products that minimize environmental impact with our thermal transfer ribbons are made with a thinner PET base film, resulting in a 12% reduction in plastic waste compared to standard ribbons. To illustrate, a 6,000-ribbon application can save 100kg of plastic, which is the equivalent of 3,000 plastic bottles.

In addition, ARMOR-IIMAK’s Solvent-Free thermal transfer ribbons contribute to reducing CO2 emissions. For each ribbon, we save 365g of CO2 compared to standard options. When 6,000 rolls are produced using our patent SolFree process, it results in a total saving of 2 tonnes of CO2, which is roughly equivalent to the carbon footprint of one person flying from Chicago to Tokyo (10,000 km).

Our 100% solvent-free ribbons are even more eco-friendly, as they contain no solvents in the backcoat, further enhancing our sustainability efforts.

ARMOR-IIMAK is proud to lead the way in offering environmentally responsible thermal transfer solutions, reinforcing our commitment to a greener, and a more sustainable future for both the industry and the planet.
